TeamLab Borderless Tokyo

TeamLab is a company that creates massive interactive digital art displays. We ventured through their Borderless exhibition in Odaiba, Tokyo!

TeamLab Borderless is unlike any museum that we’ve ever experienced. It is a 10,000 sq m space that uses 520 computers and 470 projectors to create an immersive experience.

Borderless has 10 different worlds and 50 large scale works. Download the TeamLab app to make the experience even more interactive.

We arrived in the late afternoon (3.20pm) which is a busy time and waited 40 minutes in a massive long line. We spent 2 1/5 hours inside and unfortunately missed rooms: Floating nest & Forest of lamps. We didn’t find the Forest of Lamps room and we gave up waiting in line for the Floating nest room. Hint – Get inside and head straight for the Floating nest room to avoid a line.

We wish we had gone earlier and spent longer inside because there was so much to see! This was a must do experience!
